Missionaries at Large

Because God's love goes far beyond the immediate, we are called to transcend geographic and demographic borders as we share our faith in word and in action.  At St. Paul Westport, we have followed this principle in our Missionaries at Large program.

Missionaies at Large are a network of field agents for Christ who are inviting the Lord into their work everyday.  They are on the front lines of Kingdom work, whether that work fosters Christian education in a school; promotes salvation in a traveling evangelism crusade; or repairs the broken hearted in a healing ministry.  We support these missionaries with both financial aid and spiritual covering, and enjoy along with them the rewards of knowing that we are doing what God has called us to do.

The Filling Station DFW is an informal place to be refreshed by the Spirit of God, receive helpful Biblical teaching, enjoy an extended time of praise and worship, and find healing in our Lord Jesus.

Loving Jesus is the highest calling and the greatest achievement you can ever have.  The Jesus Image ministry, led by Michael and Jessica Koulianos, calls the lost to the Great Shepherd.  Their ministry includes publishing, television programming and live events -- all to the glory of Jesus.

"The very substance of Jesus must be our greatest desire. Nothing else will do."

The Emanuel Church and Escuelita Biblica is exploding with the love of Jesus!  Its vision is to be a "light in the darkness", sharing the Gospel in its purity and simplicity through words and action, by loving our fellow human beings as Jesus has loved us. Its growth and outreach to local Panamanians has a special joy of having all the children come to Christ.

"We seek the Lord in all."

Pastor Gerhard Lewerenz

Since 2008 Gerhard Lewerenz has been leading the free church Fels in der Brandung e.V. and has still been focusing on working with the youth and society’s outcasts and another passion of his is still the cooperation of different denominations and churches.

The latest blessing in Pastor Gerhard’s life was to become a missionary for the Lutheran Church in Westport, CT which he is incredibly  grateful for.
