God is Good (Ryan Healey)

In the Kingdom of Heaven, every single day is a day of celebration. Even on those days we mourn life's circumstances, we recognize that Jesus navigated the troubles of this world in an extreme way so that at the end of life, we could celebrate for all of eternity. Sunday, we celebrate the Fourth of July. But we also mourn the passing of a dear brother in the faith, 19-year old Ryan Healey. Join us as we process and walk through the difficulty of understanding and accepting God's answering of our prayers. We'll stand on the truths that God is good, and Jesus always wins.

This Sunday we jump back into the miracles of Jesus! Two people couldn't hang out in more different social circles than a Jewish itinerant rabbi and a senior Roman government official. And yet... God had an encounter to be made!

Pivot Ministries joins us each year to share their choir with us and let us know how God is moving in this area. This is a ministry that helps men receive healing from addiction and encounter Jesus for life transformation.

Sign 1: Turning Water into Wine

We are on the pursuit of miracles! And we have been set up to succeed: Jesus is the miracle-maker, loves us fiercely and has hand-delivered the Kingdom of Heaven to earth. So the realities of Heaven (healing) and with us here today! In this message, we look at the first of the seven miracles in the Gospel of John: Jesus turns plain old water into fine wine!

Dwelling

How do we know that everything will always work out? In this message, we look at the last verse in Psalm 23 and see David's heartfelt understanding that his Shepherd would always lead him in the best ways. We can be assured that Jesus is for us and is directing our paths for our own good!

Overflow

In this Mother's Day message, we look at Psalm 23:5 and find the original vision of love and nurture: God Himself. With a twist in analogies, King David continues to prove His point that our faithful God takes such great care of His people.

Valley

We have had some great mountaintops over the years at SPW! We've also had some valleys. Even our personal lives seem marked by extreme moments of joy and seasons of difficulty. While the low points are never longed for, we also recognize we do some of our greatest growth in the valley. In this message, we continue our march through Psalm 23 and consider what it is for us to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Jesus has a proven track record of overcoming against all odds.

Righteousness

We continue our study of Psalm 23 and focus on verse 3. Our righteousness is both a calling from the Lord and also a gift from Him! One of the primary impacts Jesus provides for us is day-to-day restoration, which in turn points us to righteousness.

Solitude

In this message, Valisa shares a teaching on Psalm 23:2 and the relates it to how King David experienced rest and green pastures. We have a mighty God who loves us and goes to extreme lengths to protect us.

Satisfaction

In this series kickoff on Psalm 23, we look at the first verse. Satisfaction. Everyone wants it, but all of our best efforts often fall short in discovering it as a reality. So what is the key to satisfaction in life? It's Jesus.
