Advent is a season of preparation as we get our hearts and homes ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus! SPW and SPCS have a variety of events planned to help you and your family enter into the joy and wonder of the Christmas season. November 22 | Help Decorate SPW for Christmas!
Join us after worship on Sunday, November 22 as we deck the halls of SPW for Christmas! Whether you love hanging garland, setting up decorations, or simply getting into the Christmas spirit, there’s a place for you. Come enjoy some fellowship as we prepare our church to celebrate the birth of Jesus. All ages are welcome!

December 5, 9 AM | Jolly Jamboree
It's our annual fun-for-the-whole-family Christmas event! SPW and SPCS invite you and your family to join us for a festive morning featuring a pancake breakfast, photo opportunity with Santa, and Christmas-themed crafts, games, and activities.

December 12 | Nursing Home Caroling
Join the SPW and SPCS community as we bring some Christmas cheer to the residents of Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center on December 12! Students from SPW and SPCS will lead us in singing some classic Christmas carols as we share the joy and hope of Jesus with the residents. This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to come together, spread some Christmas cheer, and bless our neighbors in the community.
We will meet at the facility at 11:45 AM, with caroling from 12:00–12:30 PM. Please sign up at the link below so we know how many people to expect!

Join us right after worship on December 13 for SPW’s first annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Crock Pot Potluck! We’ll share food, enjoy fellowship, and admire each other’s most wonderfully ugly Christmas sweaters. Check out the sign-up sheet to see what we need to make this event a success. And the fun doesn’t have to wait until lunch; ugly Christmas sweaters are welcome in worship, too. Actually, they’re encouraged!

In a world filled with troubling news, our souls can grow weary. But on that first Christmas, God broke into a weary world with the good news of great joy: Jesus is born! Join us at 4:00 PM as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the One who brings rest to our weary souls and hope to our world. We’ll end the evening by singing Silent Night together by candlelight. Come celebrate the joy of Christmas with us! Oh, and we will have Christmas Busy Bags for the kiddos!
