I lived in Kansas City for the first few years of my life, but spent the last 23 years living in Omaha, Nebraska. I loved living in the Midwest, but I have always loved traveling. One of my favorite States to visit has always been New York. I never would have imagined that I would be living in a city that’s one hour away from New York City!
I have been to many states as well as other countries. I have done Mission Trips to Mexico, Africa, and South Africa. I have visited Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Israel. I love experiencing other cultures and I can’t wait to cross more countries off of my Bucket List.
I grew up going to church, but my relationship with Jesus became personal when I was in High School. I was in a Small Group with Pastor Brad Knorr and his wife, Andrea. They mentored me and I was surrounded by friends who loved the Lord. I attended many conferences and Mission Trips. I always had a passion for God’s people, but my love for Him became solidified during this time.
I met my husband at church and we began dating while we were in the same Bible Study. We had both served in the church we were at. He was on the worship team as the drummer and I was involved with the High School Ministry. We got married in 2019 and shortly after that we found ourselves in the middle of a pandemic. We went from being extremely busy, to being quarantined in our house with never ending house projects. We started to pray into what the next season of our lives could look like and found ourselves saying, “Yes” to Jesus in what felt like a new adventure.
We both love having Quality Time with our friends and family so moving over 1,000 miles away from them was difficult. We look forward to meeting new friends and expanding our circles! I have always dreamed of working in the church Full-Time, and can’t wait to serve here in Westport. I love working with kids and spent the last seven years at a Non-Profit Organization. It was there that I learned Spanish.
I love Mexican food, dill pickles, and warm chocolate chips cookies.
I love FaceTime calls, taking pictures, and listening to Worship Music.
I love flowers, lakes, and boating.
I love my friends, family, & meeting people.
I love prayer, prophetic dreams, and doing the “Impossible” with Jesus.
