SPW Values: Engagement

In this 5-week kickoff message, we look at the values that define SPW. Our first one is Engagement. A healthy church engages in its mission and in its people to love boldly. We look at Ephesians 4 for insight from the Lord.

In this final message of the 2020 Challenge - our read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan - we conclude with some Scripture on the return of Jesus from 2 Peter and Revelation.

Merry Christmas! In this message we reflect on the uniqueness of Christmas in 2020 and consider the glory of the Christ-child.

In this message, we are encouraged that Jesus is in control. When life gets difficult - and it sure has this year! - it's important to always see Jesus as the Victor over sin, death and the devil. We find hope in Jesus!

History shows that the holiday season - this time to celebrate Jesus! - is a time we find ourselves obsessing over bills, family get-togethers and rushing to get things done in time. Sounds so... holy, doesn't it?! In this Advent message, we agree to obsess over Jesus Himself.

There have been many GOATs in the world of sports, artists, world leaders and the such. But who is the Greatest Of All Time? There's little doubt: It's Jesus. In this message, we consider Jesus's superiority to all things - even the angels!

In this message, Pastor Brad takes us to one of the golden passages in all of Scripture - Philippians 2! We are charged in this passage to have the mind of Christ, to act in humility and to embrace unity. It's as relevant in 2020 as it ever has been!

We're often called by God into the next chapter of our faith. But we can find it difficult, because stepping forward means turning a page. In this message we look at the early church's struggle to let go of good practices (the Law) that had helped them previously so that they could be free to pursue the new practice (belief in Christ).
